Test sticks for the semi-quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and peroxides in solutions. QUANTOFIX Peroxide is also suited for the determination of other inorganic and organic hydroperoxides. For the determination of hydroperoxides in organic solvents the test field is moistened with a drop of water after evaporation of the solvent. Between pH 2 and 9 the reaction is independent of the pH value of the test solution. Strongly acidic solutions should be buffered with sodium acetate, alkaline solutions are adjusted to pH 5 to 7 using citric acid. Strong oxidizing agents interfere.
